Start with the prescribed workflow
Confirm the intended removable indication and the stage being assigned. Identify which records and approvals govern the next design task. This guide organizes communication; it does not prescribe how clinical records should be taken or assume that every removable case follows the same stages.
A record-role list should distinguish source anatomy, approved relationships, references and the proposed setup. If an item is an existing or provisional record, label it accordingly rather than describing every mesh as a final reference.
Review the stage-specific evidence
| Stage question | Record to clarify |
|---|---|
| What is being proposed? | Current arrangement/design view and the approved brief. |
| What governs the relationship? | Named record approved for this stage. |
| What changed after review? | New input or instruction, with affected dependent design identified. |
| What output is requested? | Trial/review or final production role, with the receiving route. |
| What remains held? | Unresolved record or approval dependency and decision owner. |
The same geometry may be discussed at different stages, but its status is not determined by appearance alone. Name the role on the review view and delivery manifest.
Confirm library and production context
exocad’s denture-library information distinguishes library-dependent design and production options. Confirm the actual supported setup with the responsible team rather than assuming a selected tooth library implies every manufacturing route is available.
The receiving lab should identify its current material/process requirements and output needs. A file that opens does not by itself establish that the planned base/tooth workflow can proceed. Hold unresolved compatibility or production questions for that team.
Handle a revised record as a dependency change
Illustrative handoff: after setup review, a new governing relationship record is supplied. The next package identifies the replaced record, affected design and approvals requiring reconsideration. It does not silently carry the earlier setup approval forward.
Use the staged review worksheet to record the real sequence and decision owners. Leave stage fields blank when they do not apply rather than forcing the case into a generic template. Pristine’s removable services can be scoped against the actual approved assignment.
