Distinguish permission from method selection

Use this guide for the warning that CAM output cannot be generated because the named library is not allowed to be produced locally. Record the exact indication and library shown. This is distinct from an undefined manufacturing-method warning, even though both may occur while generating output.

A library can be present and selectable while a particular output route is restricted. Do not interpret its visibility as permission for local fabrication, and do not substitute a similarly named component to make the warning disappear.

Provider-controlled scope in the official article

3Shape states that the warning can occur when the order's manufacturing type is Local and that the library provider controls the permission enforced through the dongle. Its documented resolution begins by obtaining provider confirmation, then requesting the appropriate permission through 3Shape Support with that confirmation.

This sequence establishes a support decision path, not a universal permission for every library or an instruction to fabricate any component. Product, provider and installation scope must be confirmed. The cited article gives no material/equipment approval matrix.

Diagnostic sequence

Compare the actual selected library/component and intended manufacturing route against the order brief. Ask the provider whether that exact library on the relevant licensed installation permits the requested local route.

Have the authorized administrator coordinate the support request and retain the provider's response in the internal evidence record. Following the approved configuration change, retry on permitted training data and verify the generated deliverable with the receiver. Keep component-dependent output held while permission is unresolved.

When the answer is no or remains unclear

Hypothetical example: a provider does not confirm local production for the chosen library. The team records the restriction and asks the responsible production owner to choose a documented eligible route; the designer does not change the order to another material or component unilaterally.

If a different route is proposed, review its indication, deliverable, manufacturing instructions and approvals as a new scope decision. A permission flag becoming enabled does not validate physical component fit, clinical use, equipment eligibility or a Pristine integration.

Limitations and Louie validation

Louie validation pending — unverified locally. Louie, the library provider and administrator must confirm the exact library's permitted route and installed dongle configuration, then observe an authorized output test. Pristine production compatibility and manufacturer eligibility are not established by a permission change.

The worksheet is blank and contains no patient data or executable settings. Examples are hypothetical, not tested Pristine cases. Actual prescriptions, applicable manufacturer instructions and responsible approvals govern design and production.
