Known-good applies to an exercise, not every case
A useful training baseline is an environment in which a named task has been observed and reviewed. Record that task and its limits. Successfully opening a practice crown does not validate an implant exercise, a new material or a different release.
This guide explains how to prepare that evidence. It does not publish a tested baseline or a patient dataset. The trainer must identify permission-cleared records, a supported setup and meaningful expected observations before calling an exercise known-good.
Build the manifest without redistributing dependencies
Give each exercise an identifier and link its records to the approved setup profile. Keep proprietary installers, private license details and clinical records in their authorized locations; the public worksheet records references only.
| Manifest item | What makes the exercise reproducible |
|---|---|
| Dataset | Stable reference and permission to use for this task |
| Environment | Product/release, modules and workstation role |
| Dependencies | Library/material/profile revisions used |
| Starting state | Original input and intended design stage |
| Expected observations | What a trainer will review, without invented clinical values |
| Deliverable | Saved project or output needed for the exercise |
| Limits | What the exercise does not test |
| Review | Trainer, observation date and acceptance status |
Use documentation for the installed task
3Shape describes access to technical documentation and user manuals in Dental System 2019 and later through F1, distinguishing workflow-related documentation from the full manual. The DentalCAD overview describes About as showing software-version information. Use the relevant application and documentation to identify the environment; neither source supplies a tested exercise for every release.
Match instruction to the current controls and actual modules. If a tutorial’s interface differs, identify the difference before the trainee improvises a substitute. Link the existing official-training directory rather than treating an unrelated lesson as a setup specification.
Separate a repeatable exercise from a restore procedure
Ask the administrator how the environment can be reset through the supported route and how original records are preserved. A manifest explains what should be present; it is not a full backup. For Dental System, the installer-backup documentation excludes order-directory data, so confirm record protection independently.
Run the exercise from its documented starting state and compare observations with the trainer’s criteria. If a result differs, record the first differing stage and the environment change. Do not reward completing the workflow by guessing missing information.
For example, a training record may open but a dependency revision differs from the manifest. Label the run non-equivalent and ask the trainer how to proceed. Preserve that observation rather than silently updating the expected result. Publish an actual example only after Louie confirms its exact scope and publication permission.
Louie validation and limits
Technical review pending — unverified locally. Louie or a qualified trainer must provide and validate the exact authorized exercise, installed release, dependency set and expected observations. No actual known-good Pristine setup, downloadable practice case or certified training result is asserted.
The CSV is a blank operational worksheet with no patient data, executable code, configuration pack or clinical/manufacturing values. It does not perform an installation or authorize a production change. Examples in this guide are hypothetical, not measured results or approved Pristine case evidence.
