Comparing Dental CAD Outsourcing Providers

A provider shortlist should reflect the workflow you need, not an unsupported ranking. These public positioning notes help identify what to investigate; they are not independent performance tests.

Different kinds of offering

Evident’s public site presents a broader digital workflow offering that includes CAD outsourcing and automation. Euro Dental Design describes an exocad-oriented remote design service. Dentlyworks publishes a menu of restorative CAD services. Chameleon Dental presents design and manufacturing offerings, including full-arch workflows. These are provider descriptions, not verified quality or capacity measurements.

Compare like-for-like deliverables

Ask each provider whether the proposed service is design-only, a software-based service or bundled with manufacturing. Specify indication, component requirements and file ownership. A broad platform and a boutique design service can be useful for different reasons; company size does not establish suitability for your case.

Use one evaluation brief

Send the same complete case brief and receiving workflow requirements. Ask who reviews the design, how exceptions are raised and which revision terms apply. Confirm current quotes directly. This guide does not reproduce changeable prices or promise that published turnaround language applies to your particular case.

Where Pristine fits

Pristine offers remote restorative CAD support with a scoped paid test case, agreed preferences and case-specific review. Its actual portfolio includes posterior, implant, full-arch/anterior and removable CAD views. Compare that evidence and the proposed handoff against your own requirements; no universal best-provider claim is made.

Make the decision after the pilot

Review import compatibility, conformance to the brief, communication and revision handling. Record unanswered questions rather than scoring assumptions. Public descriptions were checked on October 6, 2026; use the original sites below for current terms. Pristine has not independently tested the listed services.

A source-based shortlist, with questions still to ask

Public descriptions checked October 6, 2026. The following is a navigation aid, not a performance ranking. A published offering may differ from the scope available for your particular indication.

Public offering and pilot questions
ProviderPublicly described offeringQuestion for your pilot
EvidentIts laboratory CAD page describes design support within a wider digital workflow offering.Which service route, review stage and returned files apply to this exact case?
Euro Dental DesignIts About page describes remote exocad design with project and STL outputs. Can the receiving lab open the proposed project and reproduce the approved production output?
DentlyworksIts services page lists crown/bridge, implant, full-arch, removable and smile-design categories, with native 3Shape/exocad outputs described.Which native file package and version are included, and what counts as a changed brief?
Chameleon DentalIts offering page distinguishes full-arch design packages from packages including final manufacturing. Is the quote design-only or bundled with fabrication, and which stage does your own lab retain?

Confirm availability and terms directly. Provider marketing statements are not independent evidence of delivery quality, clinical outcomes or your expected timing. Compare one defined deliverable and record actual pilot observations in the blank evaluation worksheet.

First answer

Recheck the original offering page and your actual quote before reusing a shortlist. Keep published scope, provider-confirmed case terms and your own pilot observations in separate fields. A changed website description can trigger a new question without proving that delivered quality changed.

Keep three evidence levels separate

Use the worksheet as a dated claim register, not a ranking spreadsheet.

Original decision worksheet
Observation or taskAction and evidence
Published descriptionSave the original URL, checked date and exact offering role in your own words. Treat marketing performance claims as untested.
Case-specific confirmationRecord which outputs, versions, review stages and revision terms the provider actually confirms for your brief.
Observed pilotRecord what your receiver opened, reviewed and accepted, with the counting unit and limits. Do not apply one observed task to every indication.

Refresh the scope before comparing

Use the existing scope table above as the starting record. For each later recheck, mark whether the publisher changed the output role, receiving application, review stage or fabrication inclusion. If none changed, retain the scope entry and update the checked date; do not invent a new comparison result simply because you revisited the page.

Those descriptions suggest different follow-up questions. They do not prove the same output rights, receiving versions, revision scope or manufacturing role. This update does not import their published prices, turnaround times or broad compatibility statements into a performance comparison.

Worked quote comparison

Hypothetical quote A returns a reviewable design only; quote B includes fabrication. Before comparing their totals, identify the missing production step, its owner and the receiving endpoint. If A advertises native output, ask which application/release and whether your intended editing task is included.

If a later website edit adds another deliverable, mark the old claim as due for recheck. Obtain current scope confirmation rather than assuming the older quote now includes it.

Next step: retire unsupported assumptions

Choose one unresolved scope/version question per shortlisted provider and ask it using the same accepted brief. Update the checked date when the primary page is reviewed and record quote validity separately. A saved comparison should show which conclusions remain supported and which need another pilot.

For Pristine, use the scoped test-case quote and actual returned artifacts. This framework establishes no best-provider rank, affiliation or service guarantee.

Validation and limits

Louie validation pending — unverified locally. Louie must confirm Pristine's actual quoted outputs, native-edit scope and review/revision boundaries used in a like-for-like comparison. Other providers' public scope notes are source observations, not verified capacity/quality or Pristine interoperability; confirm current case-specific terms with each provider.

Use internal references in the blank worksheet. Examples are hypothetical; applicable instructions and responsible approvals govern real work.
